In previous geophysical programs that we have carried out in Lithuania since 2016, we have mapped mass graves from Holocaust victims at the Ponar extermination camp near Vilnius, and at Fort IV, Fort VII, and Fort IX surrounding Kaunas. We have also carried out geophysical investigations at smaller mass grave sites in Pravieniskes where Jews, Roma, Russian POWs, and Lithuanian political prisoners were murdered.
